 A club event celebrating local QTBIPOC talent by Kiki House of Silky with performances by Jubahlee silky, House of silky and special guests/artists. 

Performance by Jubahlee: From the underground clubs of Sydney to the grand stage of LIL KIM X VIVID, her bar heavy performances feel less like a set and more like an invitation to her vision of a showgirl. Dancers flanking her, beats hitting, she moves with the confidence of someone who knows they belong.

JUBAHLEE is a story of legacy – one that honours Black and brown femme queens shaping culture. If something is cool, she reminds us, it went through queer hands first.

House of Silky is a leading kiki vogue house in so called Australia. Silky is the fabric intersecting our otherness; for the queer/trans POC cross-cultured misfits. Like silk we are smooth, sexy, soft (and cunt), we shine, slip and slide and ooze fluidity. As the oldest house in ballroom, we are here to help shape, expand and contribute to the blossoming Asia-Pacific ballroom scene by bringing its essence to Hobart.

Venue Access

  • The venue is not wheelchair accessible. There are steep steps at the entrance and no lift.

  • The venue has narrow doorways and limited space.

  • Loud music and smoke haze will be used. Strobe lighting may be used during performances.

  • Toilets are located inside the venue on Level 1.

  • Auslan interpretation, audio description and captioning will not be available for this event.
